The seed was specially designed for playing and sports turf and is available in packages with a filling weight of 1 kg, 2,5 kg, 5 kg or 10 kg. According to the manufacturer, the lawn seeds in a 2,5 kg pack are sufficient for an area of 75 m² – 100 m². The seed mixture consists of 59% perennial ryegrass (Belida), 18% red fescue, 15% perennial ryegrass (Naki), 5% perennial ryegrass (Temprano) and 3% meadow meadow grass. On the back of the paper packaging as well as on the supplied brochure you will find sowing and care instructions as well as tips on the subject of lawns. In our test, the seeds were sown according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The seed germinated after just 7 days. After a total of 3-4 weeks, the seedlings grew into dense, lush green grass. All in all we are very satisfied with the lawn seeds.

The lawn seeds are in paper packaging and were delivered in an undamaged box. This box is thick, extremely stable and was on the exact Adjusted the dimensions of the product packaging. This has the advantage that the product does not wobble around within the pack and ideal is protected from external influences.
There is also a Repasack label on the product packaging of the seeds, according to which the packaging can be disposed of at a collection point provided for this purpose.
There is also a list of seed composition on the back of the product packaging. However, it would be desirable if the individual seeds were listed in descending order of percentage.
On the back of the product packaging there is also product information, sowing and care instructions and plenty of tips for a well-groomed lawn. A brochure supplied contains further information on the subject of sowing and caring for the lawn

The lawn seeds are delivered in green packaging together with a brochure (see pictures).
Instructions on sowing, overseeding and care can be found both on the back of the product packaging and on the brochure. Using a QR code on the brochure, the consumer has the option of calling up detailed instructions in a digital version. The instructions for use are written in a very understandable German. However, it would be desirable if the instructions were available in several different languages.
With regard to the “Contact information” category, we had to deduct 40 points because the contact information is not shown directly on the product packaging, but is first shown on the mobile phone display via a QR code. Nevertheless, it should be mentioned that only the QR code on the brochure works. However, the code on the product packaging does not work.

In the following, the lawn seeds will be examined more closely. It should be mentioned that the seed mixture consists of the following 5 different varieties: 59% perennial ryegrass (Belida), 18% red fescue, 15% perennial ryegrass (Naki), 5% perennial ryegrass (Temprano) and 3% meadow meadow grass. After opening the package, you will notice that the seeds have a pleasant smell. After a closer look at the grass seeds, you will notice that they have dried and therefore look golden.

In our practical test, we sowed the seed mixture. For this we have followed the recommended specifications in the instructions. First, the subsoil for the new seeding was prepared (see 1st picture). We cleared the ground of weeds and loosened it up with a rake. We then scattered the seeds on the ground and carefully worked them into the loose soil with a rake so that the lawn seeds were lightly covered with soil.
Finally, the area was watered regularly for days. For our test, we decided not to fertilize the test area, so that the growth of the seeds is not influenced by additives.
This enabled us to assess the seeds more accurately.
It was particularly noticeable that the seeds were very fast started to germinate. Because already after 7 days you could clearly see young seedlings (see 2nd picture).
The lawn is ready within 3-4 weeks extremely tight and juicy green grown (see 4th picture). At this point the grass was already so high that it could be cut for the first time.
A particularly positive aspect is that the lawn is hard-wearing, as it quickly straightens up again after being stepped on.

On the platform Amazon Consumers give the product an average rating of 4,3 stars given. It is often criticized that the lawn seeds do not germinate. Other customers really like that the lawn grows very densely and quickly. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the seed germinates quickly and has a dense turf. However, we cannot confirm that the grass seeds do not germinate, as the grass grew excellently in our practical test.
